Faith leaders are often the first people survivors turn to. This free, interactive 2.5-hour training empowers interfaith leaders with the tools to recognize sexual assault and abuse, respond with confidence and compassion when someone discloses, and connect survivors with the resources they need. Includes hands-on practice and guidance for supporting caregivers of children who have experienced abuse.
Led by Jessica Carson, Community Education Program Supervisor at Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, with members of the VSC education team.
This program is presented by the Victim Services Center (Montgomery County) in partnership with the Montgomery County Multi-Faith Coalition.
