This series will focus on mobilizing faith communities to foster innovative ideas to serve the unhoused in our communities.
Goals of the town hall series:
- Trainings in trauma-informed engagement and structured referral practices.
- Resource guide to help the unhoused.
- Identifying warm referral pathways and referral champions.
- Demonstration projects such as hygiene kit distribution, resource navigation hours, household transition sponsors, and neighborhood asset inventory.
- Housing action plan to advance incremental housing solutions.
- Coordinated referrals to mental health and shelter resources.
